Eligibility Criteria | Central Queensland University Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend Scholarship
To be eligible for Central Queensland University Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend Scholarship, applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Candidate must be a domestic candidate or an overseas candidate enrolled in an accredited RHD course of study at CQUniversity.
- Candidate must not be receiving income from another source to support the candidate’s general living costs while undertaking their course of study if that income is greater than 75 per cent of the candidate’s RTP Stipend rate.
- Income unrelated to the candidate’s course of study or income received for the candidate’s course of study but not for the purposes of supporting general living costs is not taken into account.
- Candidate must not be receiving an equivalent award of scholarship from the Commonwealth designed to offset RHD tuition fees to be eligible for the RTP Fees Offset.
Scholarship Benefits
All successful applicants for the CQU Research Training Program Stipend Scholarship in Australia will benefit the following:
- Scholarship valued at $32,000 per annum.
- RTP Stipend Scholarship provides a living allowance stipend which is paid fortnightly to the recipient through the University’s payroll system.
- Domestic students receiving the RTP Stipend Scholarship are also granted an RTP Fees Offset Scholarship which fully covers the candidate’s tuition fees for the duration of the scholarship.
Application Procedure
How-to-Apply: As there are no direct applications for Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships, applicants are directed to discuss their interests in an RHD Scholarship with their supervisory teams. Prospective applicants will be invited by the School of Graduate Research to complete an application, based on the recommendation of the supervisory team.
