The CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholars Program 2027 in Canada is designed for promising researchers and junior faculty members who want to expand their research networks and work across disciplinary boundaries. The programme brings together talented scholars from around the world and provides an environment where researchers can exchange ideas, develop new collaborations, and pursue innovative approaches to complex research questions. If you are an early-career academic with an ambitious research agenda and an interest in interdisciplinary collaboration, the programme offers an opportunity to develop your work within an international research community.
Selected scholars become part of the CIFAR research network, connecting them with established researchers and other emerging academic leaders working across different fields. The programme is intended to help highly talented junior faculty strengthen their research leadership, broaden their academic perspectives, and contribute to research that can influence how major global challenges are understood. Through collaboration and engagement with researchers from different disciplines, participants can develop new ideas and establish professional relationships that extend beyond their individual institutions.
The CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholars Program provides substantial financial and professional support, with the 2027 opportunity offering funding of up to CAD $100,000. The support is intended to help scholars advance their research while taking part in CIFAR’s international community and activities. Researchers interested in applying should carefully review the programme’s eligibility requirements, research areas, academic qualifications, funding conditions, required documents, and application deadline before preparing their submission.
