What Is the ND Artificial Intelligence Programme About?
Artificial Intelligence is a field of computing concerned with developing systems that can perform tasks commonly associated with human intelligence. These tasks include recognising patterns, processing language, analysing information, making predictions and assisting with decisions.
An ND programme in Artificial Intelligence can provide foundational training for students who want to pursue further education or careers involving computing and intelligent technologies.
Depending on the Polytechnic’s approved curriculum, subjects in an AI-related programme may include programming, mathematics, data handling, computer systems and introductory machine learning. However, Auchi Polytechnic’s complete course structure and semester-by-semester curriculum were not available in the admission report. Applicants should request the official curriculum before making decisions based on specific subjects or specialisations.
Auchi Polytechnic ND Artificial Intelligence Admission Requirements
The reported admission notice lists the following O’Level qualifications and subject requirements.
Applicants must possess an accepted qualification such as GCE, WASCE, SSCE, NECO, NTC or SAISSCE, obtained in no more than two sittings.
They must have credit passes in:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics or Further Mathematics

How to Apply for Auchi Polytechnic ND Artificial Intelligence Admission
The reported announcement directs interested candidates to obtain the necessary application forms from the Polytechnic’s Admissions Division after making the prescribed payment.
Candidates can use the following steps to begin the process.
Step 1: Visit the official Polytechnic website
Go to https://auchipoly.edu.ng/ to check the institution’s current admission announcements and contact information.
Step 2: Contact the Admissions Division
Ask for the official application procedure for the ND Artificial Intelligence programme for the 2026/2027 session. Confirm whether applicants must complete any part of the process online or collect instructions directly from the Admissions Division.
Step 3: Confirm the eligibility requirements
Check your O’Level subjects and results against the programme’s published requirements. Ask the Polytechnic to clarify any subject combination or qualification that is not covered in the notice.
Step 4: Confirm the approved payment procedure
The report states that payment should be made through Remita. It also says applicants should select “Change of Course” under the Names of Services/Purposes category.
Before paying, confirm with the Admissions Division that these instructions remain applicable to your application and obtain the correct amount and payment details.
Use the official Remita website at https://remita.net/ only after confirming the appropriate payment instructions with the Polytechnic.

Can Current Auchi Polytechnic Students Change to Artificial Intelligence?
The published report says the new programme is open to interested candidates and students who wish to change their course of study.
Students already enrolled at Auchi Polytechnic should contact the Admissions Division to confirm whether they qualify for an internal change of course. They should ask about the conditions, approval process, required documents and any applicable charges.
A change of course should not be treated as approved until the Polytechnic confirms it. Students should continue following their existing academic and registration instructions while awaiting an official decision.
How Much Is the Auchi Polytechnic AI Admission Form?
The report does not provide a confirmed amount for the Artificial Intelligence application form. It states that applicants must make the prescribed payment before obtaining the necessary forms.
Candidates should contact the Admissions Division for the current fee and payment reference. Do not rely on amounts quoted by unofficial websites, social media accounts or intermediaries unless the Polytechnic confirms them.
The institution should also clarify whether any separate screening or registration charges apply.
What Is the Application Deadline?
The report announcing the programme does not state a closing date for the 2026/2027 application exercise.
Candidates should contact Auchi Polytechnic directly to confirm whether applications are still being accepted and whether a deadline has been announced. Applicants should avoid assuming that the form will remain available throughout the academic session.
Why Study Artificial Intelligence at Auchi Polytechnic?
The introduction of the programme gives prospective students another option for pursuing computing-related education at the National Diploma level.
Artificial Intelligence is used in areas such as data analysis, language processing, computer vision, automation and decision-support systems. Students who develop a strong foundation in mathematics, programming and computer science can use those skills as a starting point for further training.
The exact content and professional opportunities associated with Auchi Polytechnic’s ND programme will depend on its approved curriculum and the student’s subsequent education and experience. Candidates should therefore review the programme’s official academic details before making a final choice.
