BASU Physical Screening Ends for 2026/2027 Admitted Candidates
Bauchi State University, Gadau, now known as Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU), has concluded the physical screening exercise for candidates offered admission for the 2026/2027 academic session. The screening, which began on Monday, September 28, 2026, ended on Friday, October 9, 2026, marking the close of the university’s scheduled physical verification exercise for admitted candidates.
The exercise covered candidates whose names appeared on the university’s admission lists for the 2026/2027 academic session. Successful candidates were required to report to the campus where their admitted programmes are domiciled for physical verification of their credentials and admission details.
During the screening, candidates were expected to present original documents alongside photocopies for verification. The required credentials included their SSCE result, JAMB result, online screening form, recent passport photograph and an appropriate scratch card for O’Level result verification. Candidates were also instructed to upload their O’Level results to the JAMB portal before attending the physical screening.
The university advised candidates to complete the necessary JAMB admission steps after successful screening. Candidates were expected to check the JAMB portal within a few days of completing the exercise, accept their admission where applicable and print their JAMB admission letters. Acceptance on JAMB was also required before candidates could access the university’s admission portal for subsequent registration processes.
With the physical screening now concluded, admitted candidates who completed the exercise should continue with the remaining admission and registration requirements. Those who have not yet confirmed their admission status or completed the required JAMB procedures should check the relevant official platforms for the latest instructions from the university.
