The CYD Fellowships, jointly launched by EPFL and the Cyber-Defence (CYD) Campus, provide research opportunities for talented students and researchers interested in cyber-defence. The program is designed for candidates with a strong academic background and, where relevant, professional experience that demonstrates their ability to contribute to advanced research. Fellowship opportunities are available across three levels, covering Master’s thesis research, doctoral studies, and distinguished postdoctoral research.
If you are pursuing a research career in cyber-defence, the CYD Fellowships can provide an opportunity to develop your academic work within a specialized research environment. The program welcomes candidates at different stages of their academic careers, allowing Master’s students, doctoral researchers, and experienced postdoctoral researchers to pursue research aligned with cyber-defence. Applicants should ensure that their academic and professional background meets the requirements of the specific fellowship category they intend to pursue.
A strong academic record is an important consideration for applicants. Candidates applying for a CYD Fellowship are expected to provide excellent academic transcripts as part of their application, while those with relevant professional experience should also demonstrate the strength of their career record. Before applying, prospective candidates should review the requirements for their chosen fellowship level and prepare an application that clearly presents their qualifications, research interests, academic achievements, and relevant experience in cyber-defence.
