UNIOSUN Merit Admission List 2026/2027
Osun State University (UNIOSUN), Osogbo, has released its merit admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session. Candidates who participated in the university’s undergraduate admission screening exercise can now check their admission status through the official UNIOSUN admissions portal. The list covers applicants offered provisional admission into various undergraduate degree programmes, subject to the university’s admission requirements and the completion of the required procedures.
Candidates can check the UNIOSUN merit admission list by visiting the university’s undergraduate admissions portal. Select the appropriate application type, enter your JAMB registration number and the password created during the screening application, then sign in to view your admission status. Applicants should enter their details carefully and use the official portal to avoid exposing their personal information to unauthorised websites or individuals.
Candidates who receive an admission offer should check the programme and admission details displayed on their account. They should also log in to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System, known as JAMB CAPS, to confirm and respond to the offer. Candidates who accept their admission should follow the instructions for obtaining their JAMB admission letter and completing the university’s subsequent registration requirements.
Newly admitted candidates should also prepare for the acceptance fee payment and other registration procedures. Reports on the 2026/2027 admission exercise state that UNIOSUN’s acceptance fee is ₦50,000. Candidates should confirm the amount, payment instructions and applicable deadline on the official university portal before making payment. Applicants should keep their payment receipts and admission documents for future reference.
Candidates who do not find their names on the merit list should not immediately conclude that they have lost their admission opportunity. They should continue checking their UNIOSUN admission portal and JAMB CAPS for changes in status or further announcements. Admission decisions depend on factors including the approved programme cut-off mark, O’Level requirements, available spaces and other conditions established by the university. Meeting a cut-off mark does not automatically guarantee admission.
UNIOSUN has warned prospective students against individuals or platforms claiming to have access to admission slots or the ability to influence admission decisions. Candidates should obtain updates through the university’s official website and verified communication channels. Applicants should avoid paying unofficial agents who promise admission and should rely on their portal accounts and JAMB CAPS for confirmation of their admission status.
