FUAMB
The Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi (FUAMB), Adamawa State, has released its first-batch provisional admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session. The list covers candidates who applied for undergraduate admission through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE). Applicants can now check their admission status and prepare for the next stage of the admission process.
Candidates can check their admission status through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System, known as JAMB CAPS. To do this, visit the JAMB eFacility portal and sign in with the account details used for the admission process. Select the admission status option, open CAPS and choose the Admission Status section. Candidates should check the response displayed against their application to confirm whether an offer has been made.
Applicants who see an admission offer should carefully confirm the institution and programme before accepting it. Candidates should follow the approved JAMB process to accept their admission and subsequently print their JAMB admission letter when it becomes available. Those whose status shows “Admission in Progress”, “Recommended”, “Pending” or “Not Admitted” should read the message carefully and continue checking for updates, as these responses do not all indicate a final admission offer.
According to the reported university notice, clearance for candidates offered admission is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 12, 2026. Admitted candidates are expected to prepare the original copies of their required documents and photocopies where applicable. These include educational certificates, an indigene certificate or letter, a birth certificate or declaration of age, UTME or Direct Entry registration slip, O’Level results, the online screening form and JAMB admission letter. Direct Entry candidates should also bring their relevant diploma, NCE or IJMB results or certificates where applicable.
Candidates should ensure that their O’Level results and other admission information are accurate and available through the appropriate official channels. Any missing or incorrect information should be addressed promptly. Applicants should also confirm the exact clearance venue, reporting arrangements and any additional requirements with the university before travelling. Candidates should not pay unofficial agents who claim they can influence admission or clearance.
Applicants whose names are not reflected in the current batch should continue checking JAMB CAPS and the university’s official website for further announcements. Admission lists may be released in stages, and an unchanged status does not necessarily mean that no later update will occur. Candidates should rely on official university and JAMB channels for confirmation of admission, clearance, acceptance payments and registration instructions.
