FUKASHERE Releases First Batch Admission List for 2026/2027
The Federal University of Kashere (FUKASHERE) has released its first batch admission list for candidates seeking undergraduate admission for the 2026/2027 academic session. The development follows the completion of the university’s 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise and the subsequent processing of candidates through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s Central Admissions Processing System. Candidates who applied to FUKASHERE are advised to check their admission status carefully and follow the university’s instructions for completing the next stage of the admission process.
Candidates offered admission are required to accept the offer through the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System before proceeding with the university’s registration process. Successful candidates should log into their JAMB profiles, check the admission status displayed under CAPS and accept the offer where an admission has been issued. After accepting the JAMB admission, candidates can print their JAMB admission letter and also access the FUKASHERE admission portal to print the university’s admission letter.
The first batch admission process also comes with a registration schedule for newly admitted students. According to the reported admission notice, registration is scheduled to commence on October 5, 2026. Candidates who have secured admission should therefore prepare the necessary documents and monitor the university’s instructions so they can complete clearance and registration when the exercise begins. The university has previously stated in its admission notices that clearance and issuance of registration PINs are free, meaning candidates should be cautious of anyone demanding unofficial charges for those services.
Students should also understand that receiving an admission offer does not remove the requirement to complete the university’s clearance and registration procedures. FUKASHERE’s established registration process requires admitted candidates to present their admission documentation and academic credentials for verification before completing registration. Previous university registration guidance has included documents such as the JAMB admission letter, university admission letter, O’Level results and other relevant admission documents. Candidates should, however, follow the specific documentation list issued for the 2026/2027 session rather than relying entirely on requirements from earlier sessions.
Candidates who do not immediately see their names should not automatically assume that they have been unsuccessful. FUKASHERE began uploading candidates being considered for admission to JAMB CAPS in batches in September, meaning admission statuses may not appear for every candidate at the same time. Applicants should continue checking both JAMB CAPS and the university’s admission platform for updates. Candidates should also make sure that the information on their JAMB profile corresponds with the details used during the FUKASHERE application process.
Candidates admitted in the first batch should complete the required acceptance, clearance and registration steps within the period announced by the university. Those still awaiting admission should continue monitoring JAMB CAPS and FUKASHERE’s official admission channels for subsequent lists or further instructions. Applicants should rely on the university and JAMB for confirmation of their admission status and should not treat unofficial admission lists or messages as final until the offer can be verified through the appropriate platforms.
